Free Geek is now open during summer operating hours. They are Mondays and Wednesdays 12:00 to 6:00. On Saturdays Free Geek is still open for various volunteers at 10:30 to 12:00.
Classes start at noon till 6:00 or later if needed. Classes are individually designed for each persons particular needs and interests.
Linux operating system, Ubuntu,is used. Anyone who builds two computers for the thrift store, are allowed to take the third computer they build home. During these hours anyone can drop off donations of all computer related items. All recycled items are done in an earth friendly and responsible manner.
