Disassembly

Tools: 1. Flat-head screwdriver 2. Phillips-head screwdriver

Remove the back face plate (optional)

There are two slots on the back faceplate where the mount connects to the monitor that can be pried off with a flathead screw driver. After the plate comes loose it slides off in an upward direction.

Removing the mount (optional)

There are four screws in each conner of the metal mount under the faceplate. Unscrew the four Phillips-head screws connecting the mount to the back of the touch screen.

Removing the back cover

There are four screws in each conner of the back cover. Unscrew them with a Phillips-head screwdriver.

Removing the metal face plate

There are three smaller Phillips-head screws holding the faceplate in on the bottom, two on each side, and one on the top. Unscrew them all then carefully remove the faceplate itself.

Cases

  1. 001: Backlight not coming on. Able to see display, but no backlight. Backlight board still needs to be tested.
