FGA January 2007 Board Meeting

Directors in Attendance:

  • Casey
  • Brad
  • Daniel
  • Ryan

Old Business:

  • Articles of Incorporation filed earlier this month and received on January 22.
  • We were approved by the Free Geek mothership for a franchise in December. We can now legally use the Free Geek name and trademark.
  • Board officer positions were discussed and the following positions were filled:
    • Chairperson - Casey
    • Secretary - Brad
  • The treasurer position remains open at this time.
    • The following committee assignments were suggested and confirmed.
      • Personnel - Daniel, Brad and Casey
      • Policy - Brad and Casey
      • Outreach - Steve, Casey and Skye
      • Finance - Daniel, Ryan and the Treasurer (to be named)
  • Brad will place the by-laws on the wiki.

Updates

Building Update Part of the building next to the Swiss Army Junkyard on Gregg Street may be available for a reasonable price. Casey is investigating.

  • Set-up bank account
  • Set-up Ebay Store
